Music Center the Netherlands (MCN) was formed in 2008 by merging Donemus, Gaudeamus, De Kamervraag, the Dutch Pop & Rock Institute, Dutch Jazz Connection, Netherlands Jazz Archive and De Jazzorganisatie.

21 compositions nominated for Gaudeamus Prize
The jury of the Gaudeamus Music Week 2010 has nominated 21 compositions for the Gaudeamus Prize 2010. These compositions, selected from more than 400 entries, will be performed in the Gaudeamus Music Week, which will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from September 6 to 12, 2010.

Sound as Matter
